Summary: "LOVELY & then some!"

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this pendant. Yes, it is small---the size of a dime, but the details are intricate enough that this reviewer could see them, sans reading glasses. It truly does not look like the picture.

It is open through to the back (not solid), which adds to the delicate appeal. It is not lackluster silver, with that fake antiqued patina, either; it has a bright shine that actually gives the appearance of a white gold, or rhodium overlay. I found that one of my white gold snake chains suited the pendant, much better than the silver one included, which looked cheap when the metals were coupled together.

You will enjoy that the bail is also decorative, and large enough to accommodate most pendant chains without looking over-sized, or clunky---it is well balanced.

This is one of those everyday pendants, that you put on and forget about, until you hear the compliments. Then you can have fun explaining the deep meanings attributed to the 'Tree of Life,' that many may not know.

Having just received the pendant, I don't know how it will stand up, over time, because I'm really wondering if it does have some type of overlay that will eventually degrade. But heck, at the price, you still couldn't go wrong selecting this pendant, and I can completely understand the numerous positive reviews.

I'd also like to add that the seller, Silver Insanity, was amazing. They packaged the product so carefully and shipped at warp-speed---service you don't see often, anymore. So grab one of these pendants with confidence. It knows no age limit, but I know that teens would absolutely LOVE it.

This is a nice necklace. The necklace is made very well and the chain that it came with is also well made. I like the design on the necklace, it has a lot of detail. The medal itself isn't that heavy but it doesn't feel cheap, it is well balanced. I get compliments on it all the time, and I am thinking about getting one for a cousin of mine. Over all great product!

Summary: "Very Pretty Pendant"

I received this pendant for Christmas, it symbolizes the life of a lost love one for me (and for the giver). It's beautiful and I wear it almost every day. Nice craftsmanship, very sturdy. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's not quite my own personal style preference, but close.

I'm also quite pleased with the box chain. Very dainty and for once my long hair does not get all tangled-up in the chain. 5 stars.
